Terms of service

hypanac is a countdown calendar for things you look forward to — games, films, festivals, launches, anything with a date. By creating an account or using hypanac.com you agree to these terms.

Your account

You sign in with an email address; keep access to that inbox secure, because it is your key. You must be at least 16. You’re responsible for what happens under your account.

Public pages are a commons

Pages for games, films, events and other public things — including their dates, descriptions, and images — are public and editable by the community, like a wiki. When you create or edit a public page you license that contribution to hypanac and its users, worldwide and royalty-free, so the page can keep existing and being improved. Contributions are logged with your handle. If you delete your account, your public contributions remain but are anonymized.

Pages you mark private are visible only to you and are deleted with your account.

Acceptable use

Don’t post content that is illegal, sexually explicit, hateful, harassing, deceptive (including deliberately false dates), or that infringes someone else’s rights. Don’t spam, scrape at abusive rates, probe the service’s security, or impersonate others. We may remove content, unlist pages, limit features, or close accounts that break these rules — full removal decisions are ours to make.

hypanac pro

Pro is a paid subscription (monthly or yearly) handled by Stripe. It renews automatically until you cancel, which you can do anytime from your account — you keep pro until the end of the paid period. Prices may change with notice; quota limits on AI features exist to keep the service sustainable and may be tuned. Payments are non-refundable except where the law says otherwise.

Dates are not promises

Dates on hypanac come from public sources, community edits, and AI-assisted research. We work to keep them honest — including showing precision honestly (“Q4 2027” instead of a fake exact day) — but we can’t guarantee accuracy. Don’t book flights on our say-so alone. The service is provided “as is”, without warranties, and our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the last 12 months.

Ending things

You can delete your account anytime from your profile page — it takes effect immediately. We may suspend or end accounts that break these terms. We can change these terms; material changes will be announced on the site, and continuing to use hypanac means you accept them.
